Arrive in Oslo and enjoy a private transfer to your centrally located hotel in the heart of Norway’s vibrant capital. With its blend of culture, history and contemporary design, Oslo offers plenty to discover from the moment you arrive.
If time allows, take a leisurely walk through the city centre to see the Parliament, Royal Palace and scenic harbour precinct. Explore the striking waterfront district of Bjørvika, home to the iconic Opera House and MUNCH Museum, before wandering through the lively neighbourhood of Grünerløkka, known for its boutique shopping, cosy cafés and inviting restaurants.
Browse design stores, vintage shops and local markets, then finish your day at the popular Mathallen food hall, where you can sample a delicious array of Norwegian and international specialities.
- Day 2 | Depart Oslo by train and enjoy the beautiful journey through Gudbrandsdal
Take a mid-morning train from Oslo to Vinstra (ca 3h). Heading north on the Dovrebanen line, the journey passes through picturesque farmland and charming villages along Norway’s largest lake, Mjøsa. Beyond Lillehammer, the scenery shifts to verdant valleys and forested hills as you approach the tranquil town of Vinstra. On arrival, private transfer to your boutique hotel (ca. 30min).
On arrival, settle in before enjoy a private tour of a nearby local mountain farm with a history dating back to the 1830s, and with some buildings that are even older. Since its humble beginnings, the farm has expanded, changed owners and been modernised, but has still managed to keep the soul and the charm of a typical mountain farm, with its 20 traditional timber buildings circling a grassy yard. Meet with the owners, animals and taste locally produced, sustainable food processed on the farm.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your scenic mountain hotel before travelling to Vinstra Station for the next stage of your journey. Board the renowned Rauma Line and sit back as you travel through some of Norway’s most spectacular scenery, passing dramatic valleys, rushing rivers and towering peaks on your way to Åndalsnes.
On arrival, settle into the charming and historic Hotel Aak, beautifully set amidst the surrounding mountains. This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner showcasing local flavours before unwinding in the peaceful atmosphere of this iconic Norwegian mountain lodge.

- Day 5 | Experience Trolligsten on a Spectacular E-Bike Journey
Enjoy a nourishing breakfast at Hotel Aak before setting out on a guided e-bike adventure to Trollstigen, one of Norway’s most iconic mountain roads. With the assistance of your electric bike, cycle through 11 dramatic hairpin bends surrounded by the towering peaks of Bispen, Kongen and Dronninga, while your guide shares fascinating stories of the region’s history and landscapes. Pause at the famous viewpoint to take in sweeping panoramas across Trollstigen and the spectacular Isterdalen valley.
After a well-earned break at the mountaintop café, enjoy the exhilarating ride back to Hotel Aak and time to relax after your adventure. This evening, savour a delicious dinner at the hotel as you reflect on an unforgettable day exploring Norway’s breathtaking mountain scenery.

After breakfast at Hotel Aak, enjoy a private transfer (approximately two hours) to the coastal town of Ålesund, celebrated for its striking Art Nouveau architecture and beautiful waterfront setting.
On arrival, join a privately guided walking tour to uncover the town’s fascinating story — from its remarkable rebuilding after the great fire of 1904 to its role during World War II. Wander through the elegant Art Nouveau district, admire the intricate details of the colourful buildings, and stroll along the scenic harbour.
