Contemporary yet inviting, it offers the perfect balance of comfort and connection to nature. After check-in, enjoy time at leisure to explore — perhaps take a peaceful walk through the surrounding forest or head into the charming centre of this vibrant Arctic city, known for its culture and coastal scenery.
For a memorable experience, visit the hotel’s rooftop wellness area (additional cost applies), where panoramic fjord views set the scene as you unwind in the outdoor pool, sauna and fitness space.

- Day 2 | Saltstraumen and Stone Age Excursion and Norwegian Coastal Ferry journey to the Lofoten Islands
This morning, check out of your hotel and join a guided tour to Saltstraumen, home to the world’s strongest maelstrom. Every six hours, 400 million cubic meters of water rush through a 150-meter-wide, 3-kilometre-long strait, creating powerful whirlpools between Saltenfjorden and Skjerstadfjorden.
Next, visit a nearby Stone Age site, where you’ll step back in time to experience how early humans lived. Enjoy a small Stone Age-style tapas lunch, prepared using traditional cooking methods from the time, offering a unique culinary experience that connects you to the past.
By 13:00, return to Bodø for a short time before boarding a Hurtigruten/Havila Coastal Ferry, traveling like a local across the stunning waters to the Lofoten Islands while enjoying dinner on the way. You’ll arrive to Svolvær and Lofoten in the evening, where you’ll transfer to the small fishing village of Henningsvær where you will stay for the next 3 nights.

This afternoon, board the ferry from Andenes to Gryllefjord, crossing pristine waters to reach the spectacular island of Senja. Often described as “Norway in miniature”, Senja is renowned for its unspoiled beauty, where dramatic mountains rise straight from the sea, framing deep fjords, lush valleys and white-sand beaches.
Arrive at Hamn i Senja and settle in before enjoying a delicious dinner and overnight stay in this charming coastal setting.

On arrival in Tromsø, you will be transferred either to the airport for your onward journey or to your hotel if you wish to extend your stay and explore this vibrant Arctic city further.
