On arrival at Nairobi Airport, you will be met and transferred to Emara Ole Sereni, your accommodation overlooking Nairobi National Park. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Today, you’ll explore Nairobi’s must-see locations:

  • Sheldrick Wildlife Trust: A renowned elephant orphanage dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating young elephants, preparing them for life in the wild.
  • Giraffe Centre: Feed giraffes and learn about Kenya’s wildlife at this non-profit centre.
  • Karen Blixen Museum: Former home of Out of Africa author, offering insights into Kenya’s colonial past.
  • Kazuri Beads Workshop: Discover handcrafted jewellery made by local artisans from Mt. Kenya clay.

After the tour, return to Emara Ole Sereni.

Day 3

Sunday, 1 June
Tsavo East National Park • Satao Camp • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
You’ll be collected and transferred to the train station for a rail trip to Voi, near Tsavo East National Park. On arrival, you’ll meet your driver and transfer to your safari camp. Enjoy game viewing en route, followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive.

  • Train: Nairobi SGR Terminus to SGR Voi Station.

Spend a full day exploring Tsavo West’s diverse landscapes, known as the “Land of Lava, Springs, Man-Eaters & Magical Sunsets”:

  • Mzima Springs: An oasis where 50 million gallons of crystal-clear water flow from beneath lava rock.

  • Shetani Lava Flows: Volcanic black lava fields spread across the savannah.

  • Wildlife: Spot elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalo, and a variety of bird species, including the rare Basra Reed Warbler.

  • Activity Planned: Full Day Game Viewing.

Tsavo West National Park • Severin Safari Camp • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Transfer by road to Tsavo West National Park and your next camp. Enjoy a game drive after lunch.
