Itinerary
DAY 1 – Friday, 30th October
Departure from Townsville
Start your journey with a seamless morning departure from Townsville at 8:00am with Alliance Airlines, including lunch on board. On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport, you’ll be transferred by private coach to the Sails in the Desert Hotel, your home for the next two nights.
With your National Park Pass included, enjoy free time to relax at the resort or start exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Uluru.

Friday evening Field of Lights – Star Pass
Covered under a sky brilliant with stars, Field of Light beckons you to explore and lose yourself momentarily in the rhythms of coloured light.

- 45 Minute self-guided walk-through Field of Light

DAY 2 – Saturday, 31st October
Uluru
Uluru Sunrise & Base Tour with Kata Tjuta is approximately 7 hours, departing at 5:45am (please be outside your hotel by 5:25am). Enjoy an on-the-go breakfast box at sunrise, with tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
Experience sunrise over Uluru, a base drive, Mutitjulu Waterhole walk, Cultural Centre visit, Kata Tjuta dune viewing area, and Walpa Gorge walk before returning to the hotel around 1:00pm. The afternoon is then free to relax or explore at leisure.
Wear layered clothing, hat, sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes.

Saturday evening Sounds of Silence Dinner
Entered into the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame, Sounds of Silence offers the best of the Red Centre distilled into four magical hours. An evening of dining under the sparkling outback sky.

DAY 3 – Sunday, 1st November
Journey Concludes
Enjoy a relaxed final morning with breakfast included at Sails in the Desert’s Ilkari Restaurant before checking out. If you have morning touring planned, luggage storage is available at reception so you can make the most of your last moments in the Red Centre.
The remainder of the day is at leisure before transferring to Ayers Rock Airport for your afternoon Alliance Airlines flight back to Townsville, arriving at 6:10pm. Sit back and relax onboard with a light snack and refreshment as you reflect on your unforgettable Uluru escape.
