    DAY 1
    Siem Reap–Arrival

    Arrive in Siem Reap and enjoy a seamless transfer to your hotel, where time is yours to unwind and settle in. Your private guide will introduce the journey ahead, including the unforgettable Angkor temple experiences to come. This evening, soak up the sophisticated charm of Siem Reap, renowned for its exceptional dining, boutique shopping, vibrant night markets and stylish nightlife along iconic Pub Street.

    DAY 2 & 3
    Savong School Project (B)

    After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer to Savong School for your scheduled visit. Following your time at the school, you’ll be chauffeured back to your hotel, with the remainder of the day at leisure.

    DAY 4
    Sunrise–Angkor Temple Tour & Apoho Herorat Mine (B)
    Rise early for a breathtaking sunrise at Angkor Wat, as the temple’s iconic towers emerge against a softly coloured sky. After breakfast, visit the APOPO Hero Rat Mine to learn about the innovative work helping to clear Cambodia’s landmines. The day continues with an immersive exploration of the UNESCO-listed Angkor complex, including Angkor Thom, the Bayon, royal terraces and the atmospheric, jungle-entwined Ta Prohm, before returning to Angkor Wat to admire its intricate carvings and sacred upper sanctuary with sweeping views across the ancient city.

    DAY 5

    Chong Kneas Floating Village and Lotus Silk Farm (B)
    This morning, travel to the Lotus Silk Farm, a pioneering social enterprise where sustainability, craftsmanship and tradition come together. Learn how lotus silk is created while supporting employment for local women, and enjoy a hands-on traditional experience and refreshments.

    Continue to Tonlé Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, and explore the floating village of Chong Kneas. Discover a unique way of life shaped by the changing water levels, where entire communities live and move with the rhythms of the lake.

    DAY 6
    Siem Reap–Kamong Cham–Angkor Ban (B, L, D)

    At the scheduled time, enjoy a private transfer to the Mekong River, where you’ll be welcomed at the Heritage Line lounge before boarding your river ship. Settle into your stateroom, enjoy lunch on board and attend a welcome with your cruise director as the journey begins. Spend the afternoon relaxing on deck as you glide along the Mekong, followed by a sunset gathering with canapés and prosecco, dinner on board and optional evening cinema.

    DAY 7

    Angkor Ban–Prek Bangkong–Kampong Laeang (B,L,D)

    Start the day with an optional Tai Chi session on the sun deck before visiting the village of Angkor Ban. Explore a local monastery, meet monks during their morning studies and stroll through the village, gaining insight into traditional Cambodian life. Optional culinary or cycling experiences are available. Return to the ship and cruise towards Phnom Penh, stopping at Prek Bangkong to discover its renowned silk-weaving heritage. Relax on board as you sail past the capital’s skyline, before enjoying elegant dining and evening cinema while moored on the tranquil Tonlé River.

    Kampong Laeang

    Day 8

    Kampong Laeang–Kampong Tralach–Phnom Penh (B,L,D)

    This morning, we explore the heart of Cambodia’s Tonle region with a visit to Kampong Laeang, a quiet hamlet opposite the pottery town of Kampong Chhnang. Travel by tuk-tuk through rural villages, discover traditional pottery making, visit a pre-Angkorian temple, and enjoy panoramic views across seasonal rice fields and floodplains.

    Optional experiences include a culinary visit to prepare the traditional Khmer snack Nom Krok (Jayavarman only) or an easy 17 km cycling tour through rice paddies and villages producing pottery and palm sugar (The Jahan only, extra cost).

     

    After lunch onboard, an afternoon excursion takes you by oxcart along riverside paths and rice paddies to a local village and NGO school project, or to a nearby 300-year-old temple and Buddha shrine. Alternatively, cyclists can enjoy a 14 km ride past the former royal palace of Lungvek and the historic Buddha Jade Temple (The Jahan only, extra cost). The day ends cruising towards Phnom Penh, mooring mid-stream with views of the city skyline.

    DAY 9
    Phnom Penh (B,L,D)

    Welcome to Phnom Penh, once known as the “Paris of the East,” where centuries of history and culture remain deeply ingrained. After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour beginning with a cyclo ride, followed by visits to the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the sobering S21 Prison, offering insight into Cambodia’s recent past.

     

    After lunch in town, continue your cultural journey at the Champey Academy of Arts. Watch young dancers train in the traditional Apsara dance, learn basic Kbach movements, or view artworks by local students. The day ends with a stroll through the French Quarter and a visit to Wat Phnom.

     

    Back on board, enjoy an open-air barbecue and gala dinner with a traditional Apsara performance, before exploring Phnom Penh’s lively riverside nightlife at your leisure.

    Kratie

    DAY 10
    Phnom Penh and transfer to Kratie (B,D)

    Enjoy your final breakfast aboard your floating home before disembarking. We hope you leave with wonderful memories, lasting friendships, and stories to share of your journey along the mighty Mekong. Your guide and driver will meet you for the transfer to Kratie Province, travelling approximately 242 km (around 5–6 hours) with comfort stops along the way.


    Kratie is a peaceful eastern province where life centres on the Mekong River, with remote forested landscapes stretching beyond the riverbanks. The provincial capital, also named Kratie, sits along the river that shapes the region. This evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel.

    DAY 11
    Kratie Full Day Tour (B)

    Departing at 8:00am, travel north along the old National Highway 7 with a stop at Phnom Sambok, a forested hill offering panoramic views over the countryside and the Mekong River. Continue along the river towards Sambor, enjoying a traditional lunch overlooking the water.

     

    In the afternoon, visit the historic 100 Pillars Pagoda, a significant local pilgrimage site dating back to the 16th century, built to honour the memory of King ChannReachea’s daughter. The day’s highlight follows with a boat cruise on the Mekong to observe the rare Irrawaddy river dolphins in their natural habitat, with sightings guaranteed.

    DAY 12

    Half Day Kayaking–Morning (B)

    Enjoy an early morning pickup from your centrally located Kratie hotel at 7:40am before travelling 27 km north along the Mekong to Sandan. From here, begin a gentle kayaking journey downstream through sand islands and flooded forest, offering a unique opportunity to view rare freshwater Irrawaddy dolphins from the water.

    During the dry season, enjoy a swim stop on a sandy river island. Dry bags are provided so you can safely bring your phone or camera.

    Phnom Penh

    DAY 13
    Transfer from Kratie to Phnom Penh (B)

    Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel for the 5-6 hours journey to Cambodia’s capital city Phnom Penh via express road and enjoy the afternoon exploring the city.

     

    Known as the “Pearl of Asia” Phnom Penh was considered one of the loveliest French-built cities in Indochina in the 1920s. Imposingly located at the confluence of the Mekong, Bassac and Tonlé Sap rivers. This bustling city still retains a colonial feel with fine French architecture, wide boulevards and riverside promenade, boasting a heady mix of Restaurants and shops.

    DAY 14
    Morning Russian and Central Markets and Evening Foodie Tour by Tuk Tuk (B,D)

    After breakfast, enjoy time exploring Phnom Penh’s lively markets, including the bustling Russian Market and Central Market, both ideal for traditional souvenirs and a true local shopping experience. For contemporary Cambodian-made fashion, accessories and gifts, browse the stylish boutiques along Street 240. Afterwards, return to the hotel for free time to relax by the pool or enjoy a massage.

     

    This evening, join a guided street food tour to experience one of Phnom Penh’s most popular local traditions. Sample favourites such as fried meatballs, grilled chicken and Khmer desserts, discovering why street food is such a vibrant part of everyday life in the capital.

    Enjoy a free day to relax by the pool or explore the vibrant capital of Phnom Penh at your own pace. Wander riverside promenades, browse local markets and boutiques, or indulge in a spa treatment before soaking up the city’s unique blend of history and modern life.

    Your driver will meet you at the hotel when you will be transferred to the airport in plenty of time for your onward departure flight.
